Facebook has blocked an Australian auction house with characters share a nude painting of an artist.
Designing Charles Blackman, "Women Lovers" shows two naked women who are lying on the bed, next to a cat.
The auction house, Mossgreen tried to promote the picture on Facebook, but the social network has refused to "adults advertise products or services." Its chief executive, Paul Summer says that this decision was "ridiculous".
"This is a wonderful sight and it is not sexual in any form. Looks like back then in the 1950s is ridiculous to censurosh these things, "he told the BBC.
Facebook says its decision is final, though Mossgreen has ripostuar sights painting. "Such ads lead to negative vent users and we have zero tolerance for such publications," Facebook said in a message.
Last month, a French teacher led Facebook to court after the account suspended for posting a photo of a nude woman, the artist of the 19th century, Gustav courber.
